If you are experiencing "Translucent Resin Is Easily Turning Yellow" problem with ELEGOO Resin, please follow the steps below:
Step 1: Please clean the VAT and the platform first before using translucent resin.
Step 2: After printing, you can try clean the model with 95% alcohol or IPA for 30 seconds. If you want better results, you can use an ultrasonic cleaner or our Wash & Cure Machine. (P.S. When your alcohol is used several times, it will turn turbid, that's the time to replace the alcohol.)
Step 3: After cleaning, the model can be air-dried in a ventilated place. If you are not satisfied with the result, you can perform re-curing. We recommend using a 390-405nm light source for 60-120 seconds, our Curing Box or our Wash & Cure Machine. (Different uv lamp may have different power, you can try several times to find out the best curing time of your own. But please remember, curing for too long time will turn the resin yellow.)
Tips:
It is not recommended to cure the resin directly under the sun. Sunlight is uncontrollable, which can easily turn the model yellow and make your perfect model looks awful. But you can try put the models in a big glass jar filled with clean water, then cure them under the sun. This will help you get better results.
