Neptune 4 Series: How to Identify Your Printer Version
Your Neptune 4 Series printer comes in two versions, identified by the printhead cable: the Ribbon-Cable Version and the Type-C Version. It's important to know which version you have, as each requires different printhead parts and firmware. Using the wrong ones may cause performance issues.

For Neptune 4 (Ribbon-Cable Version) Only
If you own a Neptune 4 with a ribbon cable, you will also need to check your stepper motor type to find the correct firmware.
How to Identify Your Motor Type
Method 1: Check the Motor Code
The most straightforward method is to check the model code on the bottom label of your stepper motor:
BJ42D15-26VXX = 0.8 A motor

Method 2: Measure the Motor Length
If the label is missing or unclear, you can measure the motor body length with a ruler or caliper:
34 mm = 0.8 A motor
40 mm = 1.2 A motor
