How to build your own resin profile in SatelLite

Have you ever had this moment? You receive a bottle of resin but can’t find a matching profile to start with?

What do you do next?

Leave it on the shelf… and slowly forget about it? Here’s another option.

If the profile you need doesn’t exist yet — or if none of the available settings truly work for your prints —maybe it’s time to create your own.

If you want to create your own profile, follow the steps below and give it a try.

Step 1: Create an Account — Give Your Experience an Identity

Everything starts with logging in.

Open ELEGOO SatelLite, click Log In in the top-right corner, and follow the prompts to create an account.

We recommend using a real email address. Once you’re logged in:

● Go to Account

● Upload an avatar

● Set a clear, friendly username (ideally one that fits international community norms)

This way, when you share materials later, people will know exactly who the profile came from.

Step 2: Enter the Personal Resin Library and Create Your First Material

From the Start screen:

 ● Click "Home"

Enter "Personal Library"

Create a new material profile

Once created, click "View" to enter the Resin Details page.

Any fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required—please fill them in with real data.

⚠️ Important reminders:

● Material image: Upload a real photo of the resin bottle.

● Result showcase: Upload photos of models you actually printed

These help others better understand and trust your material profile.

Step 3: Use the Material and Start Printing for Real

At the end of the day, the quality of a profile is proven by the print results.

Here’s what to do next:

● Go to the Device page and create a new device or choose one from "Device History"

● Use the same name as your material (this helps keep things organized)

● Return to Home and load the material you just created

● Apply it to the device, then move to the Prepare page to slice models

You can use this material for your regular prints,

or specifically for testing details, supports, and overall print reliability.

Step 4: Share Your parameter with the Community

👉Here’s the key requirement if you want to share your parameters with the community:

To publish a material to the community, you must Complete at least 20 slices using the same material.

This helps ensure the profile isn’t just a lucky setup—it’s been tested and proven to be stable and reliable.

Once you’ve completed 20 slices:

Go back to Personal Resin

Send" / "Publish" icon

Submit the material to the community

From there, just wait 1–2 business days for manual review.

● Status becomes “Published”: Congratulations! Your material is now live

● Status becomes “Rejected”: You can check the feedback in notifications and make adjustments

From this moment on, the next person who receives an unlabeled resin bottle might find your settings, and thank you for it.

The Community Is More Than a Place to Download Settings. In the Community Materials section, you can also:

● Follow material creators you trust

● Learn different approaches to the same resin

● Report problematic or misleading profiles to help maintain high quality

Every reliable material profile makes the community more useful for everyone.

If you can’t find parameters that really work for you, creating your own custom resin profile is always a solid place to start.

Let’s give it a try!
